Just saw a photo of Shah Rukh Khan and the way he looked, made me gape at him with unashamed shock...just made me wonder how can some one cross fourty years on his birthday cake and still look this way.
My guess-timates for his supple and youthful looks are as below: Could it be?

Yeah, his looks are really incredible! I saw this photo too recently - and there are even yummier ones! Nothing to add to your list, really, mhm, maybe one could add his kids? Or it is simply being Shah Rukh. Or that he likes what he does.
But you won't believe it, there are people, who, looking at the same photo, feel that he is far to thin and want to force feed him...
If there is anyone who does not like him this way...needs to get his or her head checked. Or maybe we should see how they look when they are fourty plus. We all would have a hearty laugh at their worn out look for sure.
This pic and the others made on Warwick Castle too are the best of SRK I have seen during the last months.
OK, more for the list:

Mushtaq, Shah Rukh once commented that his looks were due to living "a clean life" ... and I honestly believe this is true. I believe he is an extremely DECENT person and a wonderful human being. In fact, I think he is Wonderful Beyond Words (he should have the initials WBW after his name!) haha
On the other hand, did you ever read a book called THE PICTURE OF DORIAN GRAY...? *wink*
Well, there is a saying: "Behind very great man, is a greater woman!"
On a few occasions he mentioned, all what he is today, is all because of Gauri and her influence.
Love is a very importent point in life. I think, that`s the force behind ShahRukh.
Wow nice picture! Some men just get more and more handsome when they get older and SRK defenitly is one of them.
I think all of the thing mentioned here are working together for him, he looks happy and relaxed. Its a shame I can't put in a picture here I found in the net. It must have been taken recently (at least i guess so because he has this Victory "tatoo" on his right arm which he also had in KANK.) He is wearing nothing but a tie and jeans! Gosh I don't think any 20 year old could look like that!Now that is sizzeling (pardon me vicar !). Looking more closely on some of the pictures in your book, he has this glimt in his eyes, this jouvenile glee, that makes him so attractive.
By the way I think it is very sweet of you to bee so supportive and protective about him and thats why I want to add one more thing to the list

Oh, Sandi, did that book not have a bad ending? I do not want to imagine a bad ending here at all! Sure, his stunning looks must be a disaster for every non-smoking-campaigner, but I do not want to go into that either.
Another thought hit me, when I was putting photos together for a new signature design, humming away to the radio "...there can be only one...", looking at some pics from Asoka (hihi, Mushtaq, what else?).
There are more than six years between these and the new ones from Warwick Castle. Shah Rukh simply does not age at all!
Then I knew. Forget about Christopher Lambert, the man is a fake. The real Highlander - and there can be only one - is Shah Rukh Khan!
Guys this one post seems to have a started a forest fire of reasons... but the fact remains that we all believe that he is looking like a million buck even when his birthday cake feels like a bonfire(just joking).
The fire with this man does not seem to be on the birthday cake. Its in his belly!!!
When I first clapped eyes on the pictures from Warwick Castle, my jaw dropped to the floor, and as I was on-line to Evelyn at the time, I'm sure she can vouch for my reaction!! What can I add that has not already been said, I agree with you all, you all have the perfect answers the that eternal youth that is called Sharukh Khan! However, there is one solution that you all missed, and that is the English winter (yes, I know it is June, but I have long given up on summer) obvioulsy suits him!!
I hope SRK is nowhere near London right now!

it's me, one of those who need to get their heads checked (right, Lotta? *wink*)
I'd like to say that he indeed looks verry yummy on this pic, but I also like older ones on which he has a little bit more weight (reminds me of DDLJ, just saw it today on German TV).
Another point for the list:
His connection to the universe, Allah, his faith, whatever you might call it.
He receives his energy not only from his meals, his joy for work, his family or admirers like me but from the universe itself. So don't worry, Lotta, I'm not going to feed him...
Yeah - he looks stunning .... I saw him recently at Cardiffs "Now or Never", where he shared an unforgettable evening with his fans. It was great to see him enjoying hmself and interaction with the audience.
And for the reason why he looks so young and full of life I would like to go with sandidi's words. It's a "clean life" from the bottom of his heart - Keep on going Shah Rukh!
One other thing to add:
all his love he shares with family, friends and fans returns to him and - hopefully - this will never end.

i think its a mix of all things you said, that shahrukh looks such a great way. i think, also the friendship of the people who are near to him an love him so much and who cares about him make him look like this. the first time since ages ago there is a pic with him and gauri together and they look relaxed an happy together. may be she and his children are the most important reason of his great vibes

Whoever can read this here, principally speaking, can read what we voice elsewhere too, and it looks like we are sort of "entre nous", right? Difficult to maintain something else then, and your original, yet unshiekhspearized opinion was more in the "poor thing will be blown over by slightest wind" direction. Got you! *grin* and you should admit that you secretly hoard chicken breasts, all with a personalized tattoo saying "eat me! with love from..." in your fridge at home - to be fed to Shah Rukh at the next opportunity. See, this isn't a Saulus-to-Paulus-thing, because I still believe that he is too thin. But after attending a Reiki-workshop on Friday I know there is no need to worry.

"Why does SRK look the way he does?", a good question. I´ve thought about it and here are my results:
I remember he once said if his kids are older, he wants to accompany them to parties and having fun with his kids and their friends. And he wants to be a very young and good looking dad then! So his kiddies are going to be proud of him!!
And hey Shah Rukh, believe me it´s cool to go out with your kids and their friends are thinking you are the big brother!And trust me when I tell you, they have a lot of respect of a Big brother.I know this,because whenever I go out with my 12 year daughter, people always think, I´m her older sister!! It´s always very funny and I often annoy her and say:"Wow,you must look very old, if people think this?!" The only thing to do is have fun and let them believe I am the big sister!!
So, maybe Shah Rukh waits for this special day and only the though about it, let him look younger and younger....
Second reason:
We all know that SR always spends a lot of time in his bathroom. Without any disturbing, right?
So,what do all women do in their bathroom? Yes, they try this creme and that lotion only to look 5 days younger! They even would sell her grandmother for having such an anti aging product!! Unfortunately, nobody own such a wonder cream! Really, no one????

No one, but Shah Rukh!! He must have it because that´s the reason he loves his bathroom like other men love their cars.... :-)
But, I think for his fans, it doesn´t matter, if Shah looks like 40 when he is 50,if his hair turns from black into grey or if he weighs too much or not. His fans will always love him and accept his looks, because they love what comes from deep inside of him, much more than his look outside....
These are my (not so serious) reasons, of the secret of SRKs amazing look...
